As a guy, I'm not embarassed to say (predictably) that Rachel Green, played by Jennfer Aniston, was my favorite character from Friends. Sorry I didn't care much what was happening to Monica or Phoebe. :-) I even ached when she was aching from her failed/failing relationship with Ross. Ross you scum. :-) Today I ran into this WSJ piece I had read three years before. Rachel or Jeniffer A. apparently had an enduring fashion sense (i.e., the Rachel Green look) even today's Gen Zs can relate to. Looking back, I found her exceedingly cute when the show was running, not only because she was simply pretty but also because of what she put on and the way she put them on.

Couldn't agree more ! No wonder why she was " the" most popular in the show and got married to Brad fitt in real life. ! 😀 In 1990s and 2000s we were extremely fashionable and fancier and wore heavier makeup like Jennifer A. in my memory ( probably Gen z are wearing more casually and lightly thesedays ) and glad that some youngsters are still trying retro style. Thank you for your posting and making me ruminate on this subject.!!
